It is that time of year again. Time to dust off those cobwebs and get ready for the Settlers Online: Castle Empire Halloween Event. You will be treated to some cool game features, including resources, buffs, decorations, and frightful buildings. There will also be no shortage of trickery during this spooky season, as you will be able to have a little fun with your friends with some special buffs. During the event, you will get an opportunity to get two permanent buildings and one permanent specialist: Silo (building), Village School (building), Grim Reaper (general).

The Halloween event will be activated on October 18th during the maintenance and will finish on November 8th.

14.09.2012Test Server Event on Friday the 14th

Tomorrow, Friday the 14th, we will be deploying a new version of the trade system on the test server and we want your feedback. We will be hosting a trade stress test on Friday at 6:00AM to 8:00AM (PT). Our goal is to have 7,000 trades completed per hour.

Reward: According to the communities performance, you will receive the following:

1. 1x Omniseed - for general participation

2. 1x Exotic Fruit Basket - reaching 5,000 trades/hour

3. 1x Granite (50 units) - reaching goal of 7,000 trades/hour

22.08.2012Test Server Event

From August 9th to August 27th, we will be hosting a huge testing event where you can win loads of cool prizes for your regular account. All you need to do is log into your test-server account between any two of the specified dates (on the picture, 10th to 13th, 13th to 15th etc...) and play for at least 15 minutes. For example, if you login between the 10-13 you get a prize, but if you log in between the 17-20 you get a different prize. There are 8 prizes to earn in total. You will receive rewards for your testing at the end of that specific testing phase (13th, 15th, 17th etc.) that can be used on your main TSO account!

We will be doing a special load test on Thursday 8/23 at 7:00AM PST - 9:00AM PST  Be sure to attend!

We’ve all heard it before: a picture is worth 1000 words. While that is certainly true, your pictures could also be worth 250 Gems or even an extremely rare Angel Gate decoration! Perhaps you have a cool or crazy town layout, or maybe you caught your peasants doing something hilarious. If so, we want to see it! Get that print-screen key ready, you never know when you’re gonna find that perfect scene.

Here’s how it works: Submit your favorite Castle Empire screenshots in the screenshot thread on the forums. These screenshots can be just about anything as long as they take place in Castle Empire. Each week we will choose one screenshot to highlight on our Facebook page. The person chosen will also receive 250 Gems! At the end of the month, the weekly screenshots from that month will be pitted against each other, and the community will decide the winner by voting for their favorite in the forums. That lucky winner will take home an Angel Gate!
