Hey Settlers,

You might remember the "Meet the BB" Trading Cards we released back in the beginning of the game. Since then, there's been some changes in the team and the addition of our volunteer Community Leaders. We think it's time for you to get to know them! Each day, we'll release a new Trading Card of one of our BB team or the CLs.

Whoever is featured that day will also lead an AMA for a few hours. If you're not familiar with an AMA - it stands for "Ask Me Anything" and you can ask us anything, from personal to game-related. It's very similar to our BB Q&A event, except it takes place in the forums. Remember to keep the questions within the Code of Conduct!

During the Christmas event,  players all over the world were asked to create Christmas decorations related to The Settlers Online. The picture below shows a selection of some rewarded creations that were chosen out of more than 250 contributions. Thanks to all the participants!

A friendly reminder, the Settlers Online: Castle Empire servers will come down for its weekly maintenance. 

• Start: Wednesday, January 29th at 11:45 PM PST (January 30th at 2:45 AM EST)
• End: Thursday, January 30th at 4:00AM PST (7:00 AM EST)
• Premium/Adventure Times:  Extended
• Guild Quests: will not be reset.
• Update: Maintenance is complete.

That's right, we're bringing back Screenshot of the Month. All the Screenshot of the Week Winners for this month will compete for a chance to win Screenshot of the Month. The winner will be determined by a poll - whoever gets the most votes will win an Angel Statue. This poll will remain open until Jan. 31st, with the winner announced Feb. 1st.

The game version on the test server was updated.
The update introduced a new building: The Improved Silo.

Also, the Granite Pit and the Exotic Wood School were updated with new values.

It's time for another BB Q&A - and this time, our Community Leaders will be joining us! In case you haven't heard of it before, BB Q&A is a time when the local BB team hops onto Global chat and answers questions from the players. Join us, and bring your best game-related or fun questions.
