Today marks the 25th year since the beginning of The Settlers series! On June 30th, 1993, the first game in the series "The Settlers" launched on the Amiga in Germany; to be followed later that year with international releases after great reception and success. After twenty-five years, and nine more hit games in the franchise, we're here today with "The Settlers Online" to continue that legendary legacy - and for many years to come!

Check your mail-box in-game for a special gift package and keep your eyes on our main channels for some exciting events to celebrate this monumental milestone!

The long-awaited Summer Event is making its way to the live servers! It's going to kick-off with some brand new features: an exciting specialist, building, quest chain, buffs and much more! Make sure you warm up properly before tackling all of it.

• Start: Approx. 02:00 ET
• End:  Approx. 06:00 ET
• Adventures & Premium: Times will be extended
This hotfix will implement several Summer Event improvements.

A game update is scheduled for Tuesday.
During this time, the game will be unavailable.

• Day: Tuesday, June 19th
• Game Worlds: (1 - 2) Closed
• Start: Approx. 02:00 am ET
• End: Approx. 6:00 am ET
  
• Adventures & Premium: Times will be extended

The event conversion script will be executed and all remaining stripy eggs will be exchanged to coins. A Change Log has been posted here.

Not only will the upcoming game version bring the Mountain Clan Campaign to our islands, but it will also technically implement the Summer Event 2018, which will be activated on a worldwide basis on June 25th!

Dear settlers,

Two very exciting changes are available after today's test server deployment!

• Co-op Adventure loot

       We've changed the loots of all Coop-adventures.
       The new loots focus on higher value rewards
       and a higher chance of rare buildings and items.

• Camp health bar revised
  The old health bar is back - the camp's hitpoints are now displayed next to the units with an individual icon.
